Honorary Consular Corps’ are means of international relations that having origins in the ancient times. Nowadays, my consul colleagues play significant role in the representation of the rights of their country’s citizens and economy in Hungary.

The international treaty on consular relations signed in 24th April 1963 in Vienna codified the common law which has been the basis of legislation for many centuries.

Honorary consuls operate as part of the consular service of their delegating country, managing their tasks with specific roles and responsibilities.

In our globalizing world internet also has an effect on such traditional institutions as diplomacy. Accordingly, we launched the webpage of our association with the aspiration of providing up-to-date and detailed information about the operation of Consular Corps accredited in Hungary.
